Dr. Prabhakar is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. The unifying theme of his work lies at the intersection of emergency vascular imaging, appropriate use of diagnostic imaging, and reduction of healthcare costs. In recognition of this, Dr. Prabhakar was awarded a research grant from the American College of Radiology Harvey Neiman Health Policy Institute and is currently researching Medicare Utilization of Cardiovascular Imaging and its integration in the healthcare value chain.
