Moreover, Dr. Cagliero has been taking part in several seminal multicenter diabetes studies including the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial/Epidemiology of Diabetes Interventions and Complications (DCCT/EDIC), the Look AHEAD trial, and the Preventing Early Renal Loss in Diabetes (PERL) Study.
