Kyle Eberlin, MD, grew up in Buffalo, NY and completed his undergraduate and medical school education in the Seven-Year Accelerated Medical Program at Boston University. He received his B.A. in Medical Science where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and 1st in his medical school class.
Dr. Eberlin completed residency training in the Harvard Integrated Plastic Surgery Program. He served on numerous committees including the MGH Committee on Teaching and Education and the Harvard Plastic Surgery Executive Committee. Dr. Eberlin completed subspecialty hand surgery and microsurgery training in the Orthopaedic Hand Surgery Fellowship at MGH before joining the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He currently serves as the Associate Director of the MGH Hand Surgery Fellowship and the Associate Director of the Harvard Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
In 2017, Dr. Eberlin was awarded the Julian Pribaz Teaching award given to one surgeon within the Harvard Plastic Surgery Training Program. He was recently selected as the American Society for Surgery of the Hand's 2018-2019 Plastic Surgery Visiting Professor.
Dr. Eberlin's practice focuses on all aspects of hand surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, and microsurgery. He is the course director for Harvard Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds and is active in many national committees, including his role on the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Health Policy Committee and the Vice Chair of the Hand Surgery Subcomittee. He serves as a scientific reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Journal of Hand Surgery, Hand, and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
