Dr. Pinto is interested in human genetics and neurology, with a strong research focus on unstable microsatellite-associated disorders, such as Huntington’s Disease (HD) and Friedreich's Ataxia (FA), particularly concerning mechanisms of trinucleotide repeat instability.
