Yuchiao Chang, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a statistician at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to working with her colleagues in the Mass General Division of General Internal Medicine, she also collaborated on various grants with investigators from other departments including Dermatology, Neurology, Psychiatry and the Cancer Center. Until April 2004, Dr. Chang supported research activities in Anesthesia Department and currently still support the Emergency Department. Dr. Chang is also involved in many hospital operation improvement projects.

Dr. Chang participated in the Mass General Clinical Research Program from 1997 to 2001. Through this activity, she provided statistical consultation to the entire Mass General community. Over the years, Dr. Chang has provided extensive formal and informal teaching to her clinical colleagues to improve their understanding of statistical science. A great extent of her efforts involves educating fellows about design and analysis issues in their research projects.
