Dr. Guastaldi specialization is in the field of OMFS employing different biomaterials for biomedical applications (titanium and titanium alloys, ceramics, polymers) and for bone tissue regeneration. Currently his studies at the SBRC, MGH are focusing on bone tissue engineering for the repair/regeneration of the jaws and on tissue engineering of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
