Dr. Laura Fagioli Petrillo received her M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, and her fellowship in perinatal and reproductive psychiatry at MGH. She has an appointment as Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Petrillo is a recent recipient of a Harvard Medical School Dupont-Warren Award to study neonatal outcomes associated with psychotropic use during pregnancy. She has presented data at national meetings on neonatal outcomes after psychotropic medication exposure and utilization of health services by women with psychiatric illness during pregnancy. Her clinical interests include treating women with mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and postpartum.
