His research focuses on molecular imaging, diffusion MRI of the myocardium, high field MRI, the development of new contrast mechanisms and rapid imaging techniques, and novel platforms for advanced imaging in humans. Dr Sosnovik has published over 90 papers in these fields and has been continuously funded by the national institutes of health (NIH) for over a decade. He has served as an associate editor and/or a member of editorial board of several prominent journals including Radiology, Nanomedicine and Circulation-Cardiovascular Imaging. He is a member of the affiliated faculty in the Harvard-MIT division of Health Sciences and technology (HST) and plays an active role in teaching in both the MIT and Harvard communities.
