Research Narrative
Aaron Leong is interested in the application of complex trait genetics to precision medicine and public health. His research focuses on translating genetic discoveries of type 2 diabetes and related traits, to improve patient care and health outcomes. He uses multi-ethnic cohorts and biorepositories-linked with electronic health data to test genetic predictions for drug responses, disease progression, and comorbidities.
