He has extensive research experience in research experience in ADHD through the life span, child and adolescent bipolar disorder. He also was involved with clinical trials in OCD, and Tourette's Syndrome. He is the author of co-author on more than 30 peer reviewed articles and he wrote the chapter of stereotypic behaviors for the latest edition of Kaplan and Sadock's Comprehensive Textbook on Psychiatry. He current is preparing a chapter on autism for a textbook on consultation-liaison psychiatry through Oxford University Press. He serves on the editorial boards of three scientific journals: The Journal of Attention Disorders, The International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology, and The European Journal of Inflammation. He also reviews articles for two other journals, Pediatrics and Autism.
