Deborah J. Wexler, MD, MSc, is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts and Chief of the MGH Diabetes Unit.Dr. Wexler’s research focuses on determining and implementing effective care strategies in patients with type 2 diabetes using epidemiologic, clinical trial, and implementation science methodologies. I have extensive experience in the design and conduct of practice-based and comparative effectiveness clinical trials and implementation of research protocols in usual care settings, as well as the implementation of clinical care interventions.
