Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Catana has extensive experience in combining PET and MRI and is currently focusing on developing quantitative MR-PET for human use. Working closely with dozens of basic science researchers and physician-scientists, Dr. Catana is applying this novel technology to the study of normal brain and neuropsychiatric diseases, as well as exploring its clinical potential for cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases and whole-body oncological applications.
