Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Associate Professor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Catana has extensive experience in combining PET and MRI and is currently focusing on developing quantitative MR-PET for human use. Working closely with dozens of basic science researchers and physician-scientists, Dr. Catana is applying this novel technology to the study of normal brain and neuropsychiatric diseases as well as exploring its clinical potential for cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases as well as whole-body oncological applications.
