At Harvard Medical School, he directs International Programs at the Center for Palliative Care and teaches in the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine. He currently is assisting major hospitals and cancer centers in Vietnam to integrate palliative care into comprehensive cancer, HIV, geriatric and primary care.
