He trained in Emergency Medicine at St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and completed a Critical Care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He currently is the Quality Director for Surgical Critical Care for the Department of Surgery, as well as the Associate Medical Director of one of the ICU’s at MGH. He practices both emergency medicine and critical care and staffs a variety of different ICUs. He regularly takes care of a wide range for critically-ill patients from patients requiring ECMO to the general medicine patient.
