Linda Hemphill, MD is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the LDL Apheresis Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Hemphill is an active clinical consultant in lipid management including high LDL cholesterol, high triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol, combined hyperlipidemia, elevated Lp(a) and metabolic syndrome.

Dr. Hemphill is a Fellow of the American Heart Association Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology as well as of the American College of Cardiology and the National Lipid Association. She is on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Lipidology. She has published on familial hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis regression.
