Hawryluk, MD, PhD is a board-certified Dermatologist and Pediatric Dermatologist, and Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School.  After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with degrees in Computer Science and Biological Sciences, she completed her medical degree (MD) and PhD (Cell Biology and Molecular Physiology) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine's Medical Scientist Training Program.  Dr. Hawryluk completed her internship at St. Vincent Hospital, followed by dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School, where she served as a Chief Resident.  Subsequently, she undertook advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Dermatology at Boston Children's Hospital, and was supported by the Dermatology Foundation's Fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology award.  She serves on committees for the American Academy of Dermatology and Society for Pediatric Dermatology.

Dr. Hawryluk is trained in both pediatric and adult dermatology with a special interest in pigmented lesions.  She has authored both primary research and review articles on melanoma and pigmented lesions, and has delivered presentations at regional and national meetings on these topics.
