I am interested in developing novel therapeutics by leveraging novel RNA species and extracellular vesicles, for treating cardiac, metabolic, and neurological diseases. My laboratory currently focuses on:
1. Cellular and extracellular tRNA-derived small RNAs (tDRs) in cardiac, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases;
2. Extracellular vesicles and non-vesicular nanoparticles-mediated intercellular and interorgan crosstalk in cardiac, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases.
