Abigail Batchelder is a clinical psychologist and Assistant Director of the Behavioral Medicine Program focused on stigma and substance use research at Massachusetts General Hospital, an Assistant Professor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School and a Fenway Institute Affiliated Investigator. Additionally, Dr. Batchelder is the Director of Harvard University Center of AIDS Research's Substance Use Scientific Working Group.

Dr. Batchelder's research aims to better understand and intervene on psychosocial barriers to healthcare among minoritized individuals in collaboration with community-based organizations and people of the communities she aims to serve. She has expertise in HIV, substance use, stigma, and working with sexual and gender minorities.
