Jarrad Van Stan, PhD, CCC-SLP is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, Research Speech-Language Pathologist at the Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences program in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at MGH Institute of Health Professions.
His federally funded clinical research program focuses on improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of voice disorders through the development and testing of cutting edge technology (e.g., ambulatory monitoring, ambulatory biofeedback, virtual therapies) and theory-driven treatment frameworks (e.g., Voice therapy taxonomy, American Speech Language Hearing Association's medical SLP treatment taxonomy in their National Outcomes Measurement System, Rehabilitation treatment specification system).
