anaplastic lymphoma kinase; biomarker discovery; cancer clinical trials; carcinoma non-small-cell lung; drug development; drug resistance; molecular targeted therapy; ros1 I am a medical oncologist in the Thoracic Oncology Program and the Henri and Belinda Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies at the Mass General Cancer Center, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. The primary focus of my research is to develop novel therapeutic and discover biomarker strategies for patients with advanced lung cancers. As a clinical investigator, I am the princiapl investigator of a broad portfolio of clinical trials evaluating novel targeted therapies and combination regimens. My translational research efforts are dedicated to the study of resistance mechanisms and exceptional responses to targeted therapies in molecularly defined subsets of lung cancer.
